The warranty does not include service trips to your home for product tutorials; improper installation; failure of the product if it is misused; replacement of the cartridge because of water pressure that is outside the specified operating range; damage to the product caused by accident, fire, or flood; and incidental or consequential damage caused by possible defects with the appliance.

GE MWF Refrigerator Water Filter is easy to replace with no special tools required. No need to even turn off the water, simply turn the filter to the left to remove. A check valve stops water flow and prevents leakage. Insert a new filter and turn to the right. It replaces GE water filter part numbers GWF, GWFA, GWF01, GWF06, MWFA, and Hotpoint HWF, HWFA . This GE water filter works with a wide-range of GE and Hotpoint models and should be replaced every six months. An adapter may be needed if you have the following filters: FXRC, FXRT, MXRC, HXRT, WR97X10006, and Kenmore 46-9905.
